Happy with rug, not happy with how folded to ship

We purchased a 9' x 12' rug for a bedroom. We are happy with the color, low pile height, its density and softness. It shipped promptly after ordering. The back has some degree of grip, so we have not purchased a rug pad. To ship, it was folded in half lengthwise and then rolled. This left many deep folds and wrinkles when unrolled. It took more than a week to get some degree of the folds loosened up, and this was with a fair amount of work including steaming with a damp towel and a steam iron (have to be really careful with this) and placing heavy objects on the worst of the creases. After all of this work, it looks OK. Would not recommend a larger size rug like this unless you are willing to put in the work to remove creases that arise from shipping.
