Thinking that 'shag' was cotton and washable, I bought for the bathroom. Sturdy carpet backing will not allow for that.

The rug is exactly what I was looking for. The floor is in my apartment can be really cold so I wanted something warm. I've had some issues with keeping the corners down. You'll see in my picture I'm using a kitchen trash can to weigh down one corner. Even after days and days of having heavy weighted planks laying on all the edges the corners try to curl up. I may try using Velcro or something to the pad underneath. This isn't a huge issue except sometimes my Roomba has trouble getting up and over the carpet because the pile is so high already and curlededges don't make it easier. Then the attempts by the roomba make the corner churn up more. This is also because I have the pad underneath so the height of the carpet is a bit much to expect my Roomba to easily Traverse when it doesn't have a ton of room to get up to speed. I have not had any issues with threads coming loose or pulling from my vacuum. I have a traditional upright vacuum that I use on the hardwood setting occasionally. Which also gives the carpet a nice fluff.

Alrhoigh Im happy about the quality and delivery of the rug, it came with some dirt marks on it. Especially one large dirt mark that doesnt go away with my vacuum.

I would describe this a stringy rather than plush. It works fine for what I need it for, but it is something that I am fearing having to vacuum.
