Oh, my aching back! Let’s Gel heard that cry one too many times and quickly rose to fill a void within the rug industry. In fact, founder Robb McMahan developed the concept for his GelPro mats after his wife Lisa, an enthusiastic cook, spent a long Thanksgiving Day in the kitchen standing on a hardwood floor.

Robb, an engineer who had used his creativity in the past to develop everything from notebook computers to wheelchairs, decided he could solve the comfortable, durable, stylish floor mat dilemma himself.
